Artwork for @velvetsometimes Spirited Away drabble fic series "Hyakki Yagyo". These two comic pages deal with chapter nine and were a treat/challenge to draw. We referenced Heian period kimono (jūnihitoe), japanese wildflowers, particularly featuring Fukujyusou. We looked at various references for norimon- the litter used to carry her in the second panel, and ai got the go ahead to model the cliffs after the Tojinbo cliffs in Japan. The drawing bug has struck, so there will be a multitude of illustrated chapters popping up. There may be mild spoilers, but I tend to pull snippets or details, not crucial dialogue.
