A lot of times when it comes to retcons you can kinda see the shape of what the initial intent was and maybe grasp some understanding of why they might have changed it.
That said, I have no idea what the hell the initial intent with Ms Grace/Moth and Kayla was. Just zero clue.

For context, the free bonus character is Joan DR but they list it as SP which is even funnier when SP is also a non-bonus free character.
Amidst my (mild) dismay about not getting Joan I have to acknowledge that Misa SP has maybe one of my favorite arts in the game. It's just so good.
