#994 - Tawera sp.

I thought I had this IDed as the Banded Venerid or Fine Tawera, Tawera lagopus, but now I suspect I’m wrong - around Tasmania, at least, it doesn’t get much bigger than 4cm. Maybe it’s larger in WA? Or another species, of course.

I’d found this one previously, which appears to have suffered an injury when young and never recovered.
