ENTP, or Ne, Ti, Fe, Si. Though Zorzi is still a very much immature ENTP with a questionably developed Fe, meaning he generally cares very little about whether what he does will upset people and he’s not exactly well versed with his own emotions and when they DO decide to surface they are very, very intense and uncontrolled. Though that’s usually under extreme stress when the shadow functions come out and make him look like and ISFJ, and as you’ve prolly noticed, Zorzi’s not the kind of guy who gets easily stressed. He’s also got the trade mark borderline narcissism that a lot of ENTPs have, and we all know how much Zorzi loves himself-- /SHOT. But I’ll go more into stereotype traits he has after the functions since they are more important.
It’s less obvious with modern Zorzi than it would be with him when he was younger since he’s probably unipolar modernly, but Zorzi is very creative and loves find and creating connections between things and people, and he’s very good at it. He’s also very good at looking at things, figuring out how they work internally and then improving on them to make them more efficient. I.e. the Venetians didn’t overtake the Genoese via superior naval strength, their internal system was much, much more efficient. Genoa was a untidy mess of different powerful families fighting over power where as Venice was a republic with the Doge in charge and then the council of ten to make sure he didn’t fuck up, which the Genoese adopted post war. Now then; the thing that makes him look like an ENTJ (Because you are a fixed type throughout your life and the only thing that’s gonna change it is some massive trauma from fuck knows what) is his ability to repress his Ne. Typically someone with Ne lead will leave projects unfinished as soon as they get bored of them, and Zorzi is very good at carrying out his plans to the end if he needs to. Though usually he just finds ways to keep himself interested in said plans that need to be carried out and he’s going to let you know that he’s not enjoying carrying out such a boring plan.
Moving onto Ti, it’s pretty self explanatory. The he thinks, he goes into his head to do it. This isn’t really the sort of thing I could tell you how to notice unless he was actually here, having a conversation with you, rather than just a written one. When he talks, he will pause for a fraction of a second to think and if you are able to keep up with his talking and if you pay enough attention to him, you can pretty much see the cogs turning in his brain (lead NE types, aka ENTP and ENFP are very fast talkers because of Ne making them bounce all over the place when they’re having a conversation, but since ENTPs are backed up by Ti rather than Fi their random ideas are a lot more constructed.)
Zorzi’s Fe is more than a little bit neglected and underdeveloped. He cares very little for emotions and whether or not his actions upset people other than the people he cares about. He’s not very good at expressing or understanding his own emotions and will get very worn out when people ask him to explain about them. Although however underdeveloped his Fe is, in combination with his Ne, means he’s very good at reading people’s emotions and the built in curiosity means that he loves teasing people to find out their limits. He’s also very good at manipulating people based on this, though not always in an over the top trying to get you to do what he wants manner, it’s more that he’s trying to get away with tormenting you and poking you for reactions... Well, really, it’s usually this rather than the other. His lack of none shallow emotions most of the time make it hard for him to try and sort of sustained emotional manipulation if it requires a reaction from him. But if you serve your emotions up to him on a silver platter, you’re being very unwise and giving him a solid means to toy with you and use your emotions against you.
Unlike Zorzi’s atrociously underdeveloped Fe, his Si is pretty well developed, meaning that he’s able to collect information from what he can take in with his senses and commit them to memory in an orderly fashion as well as organising his belongings in a way he finds useful—not that everyone else will actually seem organised to everyone else, but he’s better than the average ENTP at taking in all of the details about a topic (but still not ALL of the details, especially not the ones he thinks are useless). He’s still not overly fond of following rules he’s forbidden by other rules not to break, though.
NOW THEN FOR SOME ENTP STEREOTYPES THIS FUCKER DOES.
He’s pretty fuckin unethical when it comes down to it, given the underdeveloped fe, he really doesn’t care if he upsets people and will just give them the whole “it’s not my fault you’re over emotional and easily hurt, get over it”; not only that, but if he’s able to justify his actions, good luck trying to get him to feel guilty for it. And speaking of being unethical he’s also not fond of being told what to do, and will behave like a brat if you try and boss him around given how much he likes to do things his own way. See: one of the reasons why he doesn’t like Emiliano and almost completely disregards whatever he tells him and also one of the reasons why he doesn’t like the Austrians for not giving him credit for trading since that, again, stopped him from doing what he wanted and he is a huge brat. He is a total joker, just look at him, he pisses around like it was no mans business and he’s a silly fucker until you need him to be serious, I don’t think I really need to go into this one. Same with the arrogant, cocky and narcissistic traits; Zorzi just loves himself. l: Plus he loves debate like a sport and the easiest way to get him to actually like you is to have an intellectual debate with him.
He’s also actually pretty introverted due to having the trademark intolerance of idiots, and when placed in a room with these sorts of people only he’s either going to try and get them to do what he wants and if they don’t listen he’s going to go off in the corner by himself and sulk about it and be painfully quiet. He also tends to act fairly introverted when in situations where he knows he’s completely out of his depth. As much as he loves new situations he can only take so much with causing a type of sensory overload like an ENFP gets, hence why ENTPs and ENFPs are the most introverted of the extroverts. But for the most part he is the outgoing, witty and charming sort of guy that is professional at playing crowds of people.
He’s also partially got the underlying need to be liked that a lot of ENTPs have. It’s not exactly over the top; but it’s there. He cares very much about if people hate him, despite it’s not always something he thinks about consciously and he will deny it when he is thinking about it, the thought of everyone hating him terrifies him—same with the thought of people he cares about hating him. As such he tends to act friendly to strangers mostly because he doesn’t want them to hate him. IT’s most obvious when it comes to women he’s pretty much only talking to because he wants to get them in bed he won’t deny that he does that unless you’re a woman yourself, even if it looks like he’s not going to be getting anything from them, he’ll still give them a nice evening. Half because he doesn’t want them to go off and spread that he’s a total asshole and half because he’s secretly fond of making people smile—not that he cares about making them cry, but he does like making them smile. Plus it’s the easiest way to get people to like him. I think that is all for the moment so now ENNEAGRAMS.
Like I said, Zorzi’s an 8w7 with sx/sp instincts, another thing that makes him look like an ENTJ. But like I’ve just explained here, he’s not an ENTJ, he’s an ENTP. If you wanna know more about the instincts because I am lazy,have this /SHOT
Right then, as I said, Zorzi pretty much sweats charisma and he’s very hard to ignore, mostly because he’s very in your face-ish. At his best he is a level 2, meaning he’s very well balanced between the 8’s semi compulsive need to dominate people and 7 wanting to entertain them. He knows what he wants, but rather than using brute force to get what he wants he’ll use charm and tact, and will generally back off if you’re not interested.
When under stress, Zorzi will shift down the scale to about level 6 or 7 (out of nine, a level 9 type 8 is pretty much a complete psychopath), though unlike most type 8s he will almost never resort to physical violence; that is unless he forgets how unwise it is to hit someone bigger than yourself. But most of the time he will still lash out; only it will be psychological rather than physical. If there’s one thing he’s confident in, it’s that he can take anything people can give him then dish it back out tenfold. With the lack of balance comes even more inability to consider people’s emotions, even going out of his way to attack overly emotional people that try and go near him. With type 8 dragging in negative 5 traits, however, he starts to develop a need for security that he can return to; when he’s unable to find it, he’ll continue to spiral downwards into a huge mess, the 7 dragging in the negative traits of type one and making it so he’s convinced everyone hates him and he will treat everyone as his enemy, and adopt a ‘kill or be killed mentality’.
Finally the Sx/Sp; or sexual/ self preserving nature is the part that makes him most charismatic, the sexual instinct being the dominant giving him an almost magnetic presence. He has very little difficulty when it comes to reaching out and connecting to people he deems interesting and loves getting reactions from people via his actions. The self preserving instinct making him feel very self confident in his own abilities and that he does not really need anyone else other than family and a few close friends and it’s very rare for him to make proper bonds with people.
