Quest 01
There were no pretty words or actions for war, only bloodshed and grief. Karna knew this best as a Ksatriya, but the sound of weapons clashing, the sight of bodies scattered against a war-torn battlefield, it was the closest the demigod ever felt to a home.
As peaceful as this realm has been, as much fun as he had been having living such a simple life, his life still remained at the tip of his spear, the son of Surya just waiting for a suitable commander to tell him where to point it.
With two others, although he didn’t quite know all the details, Karna was given a task, so it would be suiting for a Servant of the Holy Grail to obey without question or doubt. It was simple; covertly take out all enemies in the camp. Stealth war tactics were not his expertise nor did he approve of them, but he was determined to follow the directive to the last detail. Silently, he signaled the other two behind him to still their breath as much as allowed. For this to go as smoothly as possible given the apparent enemy’s strength, it was imperative that they remain quiet.
They had discussed the plan before the mission started. The easiest way would be to flank all sides with the three; Hau taking the west, Judal taking the east, and Karna would eliminate all north of the campsite. The demigod could not gauge for himself what their strength was nor how cooperative they would be, but he had already planned for both situations. After all, he would be even more of a mockery as a king in his past life if he failed at leading and commanding armies. If one should struggle, he would aid them, but if one should act uncooperative, Karna would simply stop them with the full brunt of his might.
Once the enemy had began to head into their tents until not a single soul but the three remained, he gave the signal for them to start the mission before dashing quickly to his area.
