Scum of humanity were everywhere, as sad as it was to realise; even the so called afterlife did not seem void of people who would trick and cheat each other, for own gain and selfish benefits. Not that he was one to talk, alas, as when it came down to it, he was no better than the shady pickpocket roaming around the streets. Perhaps his victims were unaware, but to a trained eye like Tadashi’s the male stuck out like a sore thumb. Thievery in broad daylight, huh? What had the world come to.
Many people would have looked the other way, but the teenage observer had too strong a sense of justice to simply let it pass by. Plus, it had been a while since he had last had his fill. If he wasn’t careful the headaches would start again and he wasn’t sure he’d be able to control himself.
Hands reached to pull the hoodie over unruly hair and with a few steps he caught up to the pickpocket. A slight bump into the other, a hand so swift it was barely noticed, an apology and the loot was now his. It wasn’t much -- the owner of what appeared to be a phone had long gone out of the boy’s range of view -- but at least Tadashi -- or perhaps Mujina would fit better under the circumstances -- could rest well knowing that a bastard hadn’t got a bit of undeserved pocket cash.
“ So... What exactly am I gonna do with this? ”
Turn it over to the police if such an organisation even existed in this place? No, without an inside source they’d just be wary of him and he didn’t want to catch the eye of the officials just yet.
Gaze resting on a small girl who couldn’t even be in her preteens yet, curiosity rose within Tadashi who was not used to seeing someone so utterly engaged in the screen of their mobile phone. She appeared to wander back and forward a few times before finally stopping in place only to repeat the process again. Figuring he might as well, he approached the girl, crouching down to her height level.
“ Hey. Can I ask what you’re doing? ”
