I C A N' T B R E A T H

The symbiote cat, black as the night itself, was on a building observing the city, his characteristic smile was not on his face, in fact, he was thoughtful and sad about the latest events, is he a bad person? Is he a monster? A creature that harms others? He doesn't know, he just knows that he's afraid that the people he cares about will think the same

Venom:I hate this... I hate it... I hate it... I don't like this feeling [calm down man... That person was exaggerating...] YOU KNOW IT WASN'T!

He screams at the top of his lungs, scaring pigeons, but his screams are overshadowed by the sounds of the city.

Venom: the web head hates me, if y/n finds out it'll probably start to hate you... [That's not true... Of course they doesn't know, but we've known each other forever, they wouldn't be afraid of me- of us...]

The two remain in a suffocating silence, they were at the top, at the same time they were completely below, practically with their souls burning with infernal anguish.

Venom:if... If we are real villains? If we are bad? I... I'm not bad... We're not bad but... [Be quiet, people don't know us, we're trying to help, they're just afraid of what they don't understand]

Silence returns, the symbiote's hatred and confusion take over, he puts his hands on his throat, wanting to suffocate himself, but then, an internal force stops him.

Catnap had avoided the unthinkable on the part of the symbiote who get back inside of the cat who fell to his knees, coughing, being overcome by an inexplicable internal burning sensation, he then placed his hands over his mouth, but he was unable to contain it and the red gas began to leak between his fingers. A gas that made his previously yellow eyes like the sun become completely black and white, while he watered and his voice simply wouldn't come out. He had awakened something in him that he didn't understand, he felt scared and didn't know what to do, was he really becoming a monster?...

After a few hours, he returns to the apartment staggering and dizzy, opening the door in the middle of the night, making as much silence as possible so as not to wake up his roommate Roxy, who by then was already asleep, unless...

"Theo? Is that you?" It's voice at the same time provoked comfort, provoked fear, what should he do? He isn't a threat to them, but he is so afraid of what they will think about him, his new eyes, his new darker aspect, The fear he felt caused more mutations with the symbiote's DNA, now his hands had claws and his fangs were larger, with tall fur and even taller than it should have been, with the tip of his tail black like the tip of his ears.

Catching breath

The two were looking at each other in that dark room, catnap was hunched over and retreating with his ears lowered, he didn't know what to do or say, his voice simply wouldn't come out, it was all stuck in his throat.

His roommate takes a few steps, trying to use the street light coming in through the window as a source of illumination, trying to see what had happened, why was the cat different? It already was and wouldn't have noticed? They couldn't say, they could only see the discomfort and tears on their friend's face.

"Hey... It's okay, you don't need to be so scared, I'm not mad that you made some noise by accident" The words sounded worried, but they were trying to convey a feeling of comfort as they approached, the cat slowly comes closer, coming into the light, his roommate is surprised, it was much more different than they could deduce when he was in the shadows

"I- I... I... didn't mean to wake you... I'm sorry...." He finally said something, his voice was much deeper and hoarser than before, perhaps a side effect of the gas? After all, he had felt his throat burn earlier.

A chill ran down his roommate spine, it wasn't fear, but a discomfort from so many sudden changes that night, maybe it was a nightmare, a dream, there was no time to think, They needed to do something to help, so they came close and hugged him, the cat didn't hug them back, he was afraid of accidentally hurting them with his claws. Slowly the cat relaxed and rested its head on it, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Let's go to bed... It's still early in the morning, let's go to sleep..." the roommate said, taking the cat's hand and pulling him back, the cat simply followed in silence, drying his face, they lay down in bed, the cat took a while to adjust due to its new size, the two stay there, hugging each other, until they eventually fall asleep and are finally able to sleep on that strange night
