"Your grace?" Venti floated up to the tree in Windrise, concern in his voice, "Are you okay?"
You sniffled quietly, "...How did you know I was here?"
He sat beside you, frowning, "You're in Mondstat, the wind heard you crying. It sent your cries to me, asking me to comfort you."
You hummed, wiping your tears away furiously The wind's a snitch. You glared at your feet.
"Is there anything I can do to help your grace?" Venti asked, distressed, "If you want you can talk to me about it."
You shook your head, "I don't wanna talk about it..." You mumbled.
"Then perhaps a song is in order." Venti pulled out his lyre, plucking the strings absentmindedly, "Perhaps one of the songs you've taught me?"
"...yes please..." You mumbled. It'd been forever since you heard songs in your world.
When you had first sang the songs to Venti, no matter how good or bad your voice is, he picked it up quickly. The tune and notes changed a bit, but as the best bard in the world, he knew how to make a tune sound good. He also knew every song that was, is, and will be. And when you had put that up to the test with songs from your world, while he might not have known them, he did his best to learn them.
He plucked his lyre beautifully, and his voice followed, filling the peacfullness of Windrise with a tune you were well accustomed to. One that made you dizzy with homesickness.
You sighed and hummed along to his voice, leaning on his shoulder precariously, not wanting to interrupt his playing,
The familar song played by Venti, in the tree in Windrise, laying against his shoulder, you couldn't help but smile. Your tears were all but forgotten as you fell asleep. His calming tune and voice, the wind gently caressing your face, the tiredness from crying, all of it lulled you into a peacful slumber.
Venti had noticed and smiled wide, his face heating up slightly. He carefully took his cloak off and wrapped it around you, laying you down on his lap. He watched the peacful moors of Mondstat wilst you slept peacfully on his lap, playing the lyre in a tune you loved.
