the bitch thing is another issue, but feminists are working on reclaiming that word, just as how some black people are of the mind to reclaim the n-word. but essentially, you still /don't/ have the right to use that word even if black people say it because hey, you're not actually the oppressed race of people that word refers to. you don't get to whine and complain about how you have to make allowances for other people when you're speaking from the veil of white privilege.

I find the whole reclaiming issue to be stupid, tbh. Or well, the way they are using it is stupid. You reclaim it to stop it from meaning something bad, from being a hurtful word, so if the oppressing people are starting to use that word in a non-hurtful way, isn't that achieving the goal? 

But, again, I said I agree that white people shouldn't be using the word nigger as slang , I also think black people shouldn't if they find it harmful but whatever. But if you're a black singer, especially one who knows he has many white listeners, and you use that word in the song, title or not, who are you to tell others not to use it when talking about your song? You don't want your listeners to say it, don't write it. It's very simple.
