#venting about nothing

I joked to my dad and my friends online that my most anticipated game release of 2024 was Sonic X Shadow Generations as in a remaster of a game I played on the PS3. Beside the point but I was hyped and fully expected to try the game digitally but then I found out that the physical edition of the game came with a copy of Gerald Robotnik’s journal. I was excited and my copy came in the mail and…

I was confused and thought that Amazon scammed me on my promise book but then I opened it up:

I found it amusing that it turned out to be an old manual style booklet and I ended up appreciating it anyway. Just that I expected a full book and this ad certainly didn’t help:

Just something funny to vent about; still loved the game despite some frustrating moments (the rival race against Shadow can go to Hell right next to issue #134 of the Archie comics).

Saved me some book space as well.

When you want to do a d&d campaign with your friends and all but one remembers/comes which is cool because everyone asked to be apart of it and at one point there were seven people who wanted in and it was all like fuck yeah shit will be lit until no one has a coinciding free day which wouldn't have happened this time because you asked them if they wanted to get together the next Friday so that everyone could get that day off but no one comes except one person so you two just end up playing lego Indiana jones. You know the usual

I feel like Tumblr has a mutual agreement with everyone that everyone is going to follow you to read everything you post, like it and maybe even put your stuff on their wall but still never try to make contact.. Sorta feels like I'm followed by robots.
