Got some new cold weather gear to test. The @thenorthface Ventrix is TNF’s latest insulating jacket for walking/hiking/mountaineering jacket. According to the blurb “The mid layer releases excess heat during outdoor activities through a dynamic system of micro vents that open and close with motion and exertion, regulating body temperature.” What this means in practice is warm not sweaty.
