Hand over siffrin headcanons

rubs my hands together. oh baby i got a list.

chronic pain and OCD. i need to project my issues onto him and make them worse. the chronic pain is kind of more like. phantom pain? i cant imagine dying violently that much and not like feeling it sometimes. the OCD was super manageable before the loops but they like. made it Bad. they made it really bad

fun little headcanon that i treat more as a metaphor than a serious headcanon i stick with. is the "Siff Reun" = "John Doe" thing. its a name for an unidentified person in Vaugarde and people called siffrin that when he first got there and wasnt able to give a name and it just kind of. stuck

they had a small immediate family (no siblings, two parents) but a very large extended family. they were close with their cousins. (bonus that i sometimes like to throw in, euphrasie is his moms sister. she moved to vaugarde not too long after siffrin was born)

post-loops siffrin has a sort of nervous tic? whenever the topic of death comes up, where he rubs his neck. sometimes like hes trying to find his pulse

bonus loop headcanon that i love: they had a (very very) brief moment immediately post-wish-for-help where they gained like. omniscience. cosmic horror moment with the universe. this is where their vague meta knowledge comes from! it stuck with them in the same way meeting the change god stuck with mirabelle. it was. all around kind of unhelpful. kind of just gave them a permanent background minor existential crisis. but on the bright side! their 4th wall jokes are always accurate!

mafuyu is like. primed for plurality its crazy. like this mf was MADE to have a dissociative disorderr. shakes her around like a chew toy. like.... to the point that i genuinely would not be all that surprised if that was where they were going with her. somehow. like i dont think so but it makes sense.

she checks a lotta boxes. (not that thats necessary but it is a work of fiction so if ur implying something it has to follow some rules yknow.) childhood trauma (presumably. we have like One flashback of her), some amt of amnesia (see the One flashback), extremely heavy masking, dissociation, depersonalization, Identity Issues. i vaguely recall her being confused about her own prior decisions at least once. i can smell it on her.
