SUMMARY: The ability to read other's thoughts. These individuals cannot manipulate anyone's thoughts, they can only listen in.
SPECIFIC ASPECTS: (1) As thoughts are not always linear, the power partially works to translate thoughts in a way that are generally "listenable". (2) Whichever thoughts are at the forefront of a person's mind are the "loudest" and easiest to read. (3) With control, users can tap into buried thoughts and past memories of others. (4) Contact with another person strengthens the users abilities to read their thoughts and filter through them. (5) Some possess the more rare ability to transfer their own thoughts into the minds of others which functions as a sort of silent communication. (6) Like heard voices, the closer a person is to the user, the easier it is to read their thoughts.
WEAKNESSES: (1) It can be difficult at first to filter voices coming from other minds. (2) Sending thoughts takes complete focus and concentration. (3) Some people's minds race so fast it can be difficult to filter through the stream of consciousness or retain what they are really thinking. (4) Reading the thoughts of someone who is considered mentally ill can be extremely taxing. (5) Digging deeper into memories and buried thoughts can be draining and takes an exceptional level of concentration, focus, and energy.
