Thank you so much for sending something in, my dear!! ;A; <3
6) something you would go back and change in your writing that it’s too late/complicated to change nowHaha oh, man. If I had the patience, I would honestly rewrite two of my daiya fics completely - a chronicle of the sun, and stages of trompe-l’oeil. Not because of the plots - I’m happy with how the plots played out, I’m just not completely satisfied with the way I wrote them. The former is kind of horrible to me now bc it was the first fic I wrote after like 3 years of not writing at all so I was super-rusty, and the latter is just … idk, I’ve always felt like I could’ve written that one better somehow. I look back at it and I hate some of my giant paragraphs and stuff LOL.
It’s funny that this question came up though, because when I was writing it rains ashes on golgotha, I had just almost finished writing the entire fic when I realized that I had missed one particular outstanding detail, and that missing detail actually reverberated throughout the entire fic, all 23k words of it. In the end I fixed the problem by writing an excuse for it in one of the earliest scenes of the fic, so it’s all good now, but I crylaugh when I think back to the fact that that happened.
8) favorite genre to writeObviously romance haha! I’m so attached to all my ships. I love writing comedy too, à la spyglass in reverseand like hawks over eden.
20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts? Both! I just do whatever my brain can manage. If it can handle 9 hours of writing at any given point in time, then you bet I’m gonna sit there for 9 hours and write my butt off. If I’m too exhausted, then it’ll be little spurts with lots of breaks :D
