i was planning to have veranus branch off and do something else for stb on but i just thought of cillien taking the big hit where he loses his eye for him in the hades fight and now im like woag… veranus on the first also would be very good i hadnt thought about it much before… i feel like he’d mostly be around the crystarium if he was there.. i could also maybe see him in amh arang… him getting like 2-3 years on the first…….. ough. IT SUCKS HE ISNT A MAIN WOL BC HIM AND ARDBERT… THROWS UP BLOOD I THINK HE’D LOVE ARDBERT. all my ocs Must love ardbert. except cillien i think he’s fairly indifferent to him though post innocence i do actually think he’d appreciate his company and find it comforting.
veranus doing arr chores bc cillien doesnt want to is so funny and cute to me. cillien getting mad at him during the ifrit ambush… cillien still getting his back scar from that fight and v feeling immensely guilty about it… cillien initially blaming him for not being a good enough tank… veranus making sure cillien never gets hit again… Yes.. Yes..!!!!!
ALSO still works having one of them being naive about the crystal braves stuff (v) and cillien being like hey i think this is Bad actually but v just brushing it off as his usual pessimism. UGH!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!
just had such a great idea for a v/cillien fic i’ve never been more back. like genuinely veranus fills the niche I need for cillien’s cowol so well. It’s not quite as toxic as I want it to be, but I do think that they’d butt heads a lot in a very fun and interesting way.
