hashtag fuck the pharmacy because (1) i tried to refill my prescription on the 18th, got a confirmation email, then nothing, (2) ditto on the 20th, (3) now it’s the 21st and i have NO MORE PILLS LEFT so i called the store, they redirected me to another store, the machine said that i can’t refill the prescription without my health care provider’s approval, which the website had said NOTHING about, and that my medication would probably be ready on the 24th (!!!!!) so i guess i just have a gap in my preferred birth control for a week 🤷

ETA: hubs got me to call my health care provider directly and she arranged for me to get access to it today!

hello and welcome to my cooking channel! today i’ll be making a 1 hr recipe that will take me 4 hrs to make, featuring taking baby to the bathroom every 10 minutes, nursing every half hour, and stopping in the middle to hold him for his hour long nap

today someone asked me, “how old?” and i repeated back, “how old??” because i haven't been asked that in a while, and thank goodness i didn't say “25″ because then he said, “how many months?” and i realized he was asking about the baby in my arms...

baby cannot roll or crawl or really move at all, yet somehow he pushes the two of us a foot and a half across the bed every night

totally understand why people do home births... how many hours have i spent getting me and this baby monitored when we are 100% healthy and none of the tests have found anything wrong... hubby and i spent 2.5 hrs this morning (including travel) to find out that, just as we already knew, baby is a-ok to keep growing inside me until they’re ready to be born

it’s the end of the semester, and this morning “look in the modules on canvas” is turning into my version of “it’s on the syllabus”

got my second round test results back and it’s good news!!!!!

first test results (when I did not administer the test): positive

second test results (when my health care provider administered the test): negative

i’m so happy that it all worked out (and also so done with the medicalization of birth)
