It’s not pretentious! My Spanish is p bad, written better than spoken tbh, and I wish people had helped me more instead of making me looking stupid, ehe ))
aw;;; I'm so sorry people acted that way-- I much rather give gentle advice and kindly correct them and instruct them on how to properly conjugate and which verbs we use when so on. I dunno :c I feel wrong for thinking that way--

Wow, you sure are a lot. No matter, come inside and make yourselves at home. I don't want any of you turning into icicles after all.

Maddie knew she shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. Now she was behind on cinnamon rolls, and there was already a line of customers in the shop.
She blinked, eyelids heavy, as she carried the big tray of rolls over to the oven to bake. She was so tired; she couldn't even see straight. Yawning, she let her eyes close for just a second--only to trip over air and fall forward, unbaked rolls scattering everywhere and the heavy metal tray clattering to the ground.
Groaning internally, she set to picking them up--they'd all have to be scrapped, of course--just as someone came running in.
