“ i’m tired ”

Sunny looked up with a frown, her eyes suddenly filled with worry. The two had been up for a fair amount of time and without noticing, it was now past midnight. “Oh, are you ready to go home?” she asked, tilting her head slightly as she examined the other. He did look a bit tired, but then again it was too dark to notice any real signs on his features. Sunny also wasn’t the type to get tired; maybe it was because she drank way too much coffee and was a bit of an insomniac. “If you want, I can try to give you a piggyback ride…” she chuckled, scurrying beside him. “You sure you’re going to be okay?”

As of late, no. Much like anyone else he’s suffered his fair share of hurt, and it has made him become more reserved when feelings are in play. Meaning, it’ll take a bit to get to that point where he’d consider another person’s actions worthy of “hurting” him.
