Maroon - What are you most passionate about?
✴Vefry: “Not to be the guy who says ‘my girlfriend,’ but… My girlfriend. I’m sorry, chemistry, I really am.”
✴Cimbyl: “Well, it’s either murder or theft - kidding, it’s my family. Obviously! They’re even better than training.”
Bronze - What is your favorite way to warm up when it’s cold?
✴Vefry:“Hot chocolate. I don’t know what makes it taste so great from an Erlenmeyer flask… Maybe I should double check my lab equipment.”
✴Cimbyl:“Push-ups! Or even better, just staying in bed.”
Army - Do you have a fighting style? If so, what is it?
✴Vefry:“Well, if there’s anything in particular - I don’t think a lot of people use their own blood to kill. I don’t think most people can. It’s nothing I’m proud of, but it does the job.”
✴Cimbyl:“Stab ‘em.”
Butterscotch - Is there candy in the world you live in? If so, do you have a favorite one?
✴Vefry:“I’m a toffee kinda guy.”
✴Cimbyl:“I’ve grown weirdly attached to the Cotton Candy we sell. Sometimes I can have the leftovers! Pretty sure one of these days i’ll wake up with my teeth all over the pillow but,” they shrug, “nothing’s for free except death, right?”
Cerulean - What is your favorite way to cool down in hot weather?
✴Vefry:“I keep my lab cooled, so usually the heat isn’t a big problem. I can’t exactly go swimming without an injection, so… when push comes to shove i just sort of suffer and make sure nobody gets too close. Fumes, and all that. It can be quite embarrassing.”
✴Cimbyl:“Listen, I will find the nearest water source and I will cannon ball it. Don’t even try me. A well? A puddle? A bucket? Try to stop me, I dare you.”
Mauve - What makes you feel nostalgic?
✴Vefry:"I keep the vial that held the first dose of my counteragent in a special place in my shelf, so whenever I need a pipet, I see it and remind myself how lucky I am today.”
✴Cimbyl:"Busting pickpockets in the crowd! I used to be that kid, you know? It’s nice to see some tricks are still the same. Makes them easier for me to to catch, too!”
Coral - Do you have a strong moral code? What are some moral things that you feel strongly about?
✴Vefry:“I’m not sure where a moral code begins to be ‘strong’… But I consider anyone conducting unethical experimentation as my personal adversary, and such people can’t expect my mercy. Very much the opposite.”
✴Cimbyl:“Don’t hurt my friends, I guess? I dunno. I jump in when I it’s necessary, frying my brain about that would only slow me down when I need to be quick.”
Bone - When was the first time you ever witnessed death? How did it impact you?
✴Vefry:“It… was too early.” His eyes are somewhere else.
✴Cimbyl:“Like two weeks after the troupe took me in, one of the moas died. It was pretty sad, seeing something so colourful, so lifeless… But it had a good run, I’d say. Personally, I intend to have the best run!”
Umber - Who do you call your friend? How many friends do you have?
✴Vefry:“There’s Zazeat and Illysme, so two. I don’t really need anyone else - I’ve known Zaz almost my whole life, calling him a friend wouldn’t do that justice. He’s my brother. Lilly is more than a platonic friend, I think that’s obvious… But my friend nevertheless.”
✴Cimbyl:“Why, the whole troupe! Though… I guess it’d be nice to get to know someone from outside, too. Some of our guests are really nice and it’s a shame that I can’t really make friends with them.”
Cloud - What do you spend the majority of your time thinking about?
✴Vefry:“Again Illysme, if I can help it. She’s the nicest thing to think about, but my experiments are a close second.” He winks.
✴Cimbyl:“Sometimes when there’s a new routine, I like to go through it in my head a few times. Never overdo it though, that’d just kill my thunder.”
Midnight - Are you a night or morning person?
✴Vefry:“Night, for sure. Maybe it’s my cycle, but I find it easier to think when the world is quiet.”
✴Cimbyl:“Morning all the way! The air is so crisp, perfect time for training.”
