Urahara was quiet the mad scientist wasn’t he? Figuring out a way to materialize Zangetsu AND put him inside a gigai? Now that was something Ichigo had never seen in his life, but it was all for a good purpose. Getting to truly know ones soul was the best way for them to bring out their true power.
But that wasn’t the only reason Ichigo was okay with this, he wanted to show Zangetsu his world. It was the least he could do especially since he had been sitting idly in his soul for many years.
Zangetsu had to come to be described as a friend, rather than a weapon.
“--are you ready, Zangetsu?”
