the google age verification got me
i thought only youtube was doing this but apparently it is also Google. i sent feedback complaining about the google photos app UI update that hid or removed the warp button, which i use regularly, and today i check to see if they've responded and

how do you want to verify your email account? you could use your legal ID, or show us your face, or your credit card information, or uh i GUESS we could check your email account that you made over ten years ago. but wait !!!! it's not even google doing it!!!
verifymy doesn't seem to have much online, but ID.me and Verifications.io are two other similar email verifiers that suffered huge data breaches relatively recently, potentially exposing thousands of customer data. i really believe it can and will happen again. also here's a webpage that tells you if your email address has been found in any data breaches and uh
