6. OTP for your muse? (Sae)

Hmmmm...this is a toughy because I have not been getting a good read on the kind of romantic partners Sae would be interested in, and that's because she's such a goddamn stubborn woman who doesn't want to rely on help from others. I also think she's the type who sees a relationship as 'weighing her down' or 'being shackled to a person for the rest of her life'. She's so high-strung and so independent, it'll take a lot to really unwind her and break her down.

But for me personally? I do like me some SaeTae. I'm not like a huuuuuge huge fan of it, but it can be nice if the chemistry is right. You don't see them interact pretty much at all in game, so coming up with your own situations and interactions for them to meet and talk can be very nice! Very organic! I once entertained the thought, and actually had some plot ideas forming with another writing partner, for Sae and Phoenix Wright. Two complete opposites in personality getting together, and they're both in law! I've also thought about Sae and Maruki, perhaps? But that's gonna be HEAVILY dependent on their chemistry too. Other than those I really do not have many ships in mind for Sae.

7. NOTP for your muse? (Sae)

The obvious ones here are with any of the teenagers. I have seen things on the interwebs and I have seen the unfortunate sight of Sae x Makoto art and like...yeah, okay, I wish to bleach my eyes and erase the memory of me ever finding that cursed shit.

Another would be Sae x Adachi. Like...no, do not, absolutely not. Give me some AUs of Adachi and sprinkle some family/sibling-ship with them and I'm more than okay with that. (I know one specific person in general for this, and I hope you are looking and reading this and know I love the Adachi and Nijima found family AU very much.)

Back in the beginning, years ago now, Teddie uttered those same words. Hearing them from someone else's mouth sent him back to his own world. The TV studio covered in fog with a lonely bear begging for the first people he's ever met to help him bring his world back to normal. He cried but no tears ever came out.

That peace he desired was to bring back all he'd ever known. With no other experiences, the young bear sought shelter back in his status quo. Keeping himself in ignorance stopped him from thinking too much about his true reality. He was lonely, anxious, and depressed, but did not know it.

Teddie knew better now. Thanks to his friends his held open arms for the new. No matter how terrifying, no matter how sad.

"I...want to live a happy life." Sounded easy enough, "Not a quick happy like when I'm eating topsicles. I want to be truly happy with my life. And my friend's lives, too! I think if we keep moving forward together, we'll always find a path to pure joy. Because watching them laugh is the best feeling I can ever have."

This strange, tall, and pale man was a figure in white. Just a hooded cloak he wears nowadays, hiding his usual tatted, and gaunt appearance. And his beloved gun. You would never guess he was an agent of the black and terrible Erebus, if not for those tired, tired eyes. He steps slowly towards them, with an unflinching stare as if he was looking for something in the other, but offers a hand almost as if welcoming them.

He speaks with a frustrated but honest plea. ❝ Help me to understand... Why must you wage such an exhausting war? Why not find peace in acceptance? ❞

" You look very unwell. Is it - have you not been sleeping well, Akira? Please, let me get you some water. "

Taking  a  nap  during  the  day  in  middle  of  a  busy  schedule  wasn’t  something  he  would  usually  allowing  himself  to  do.  Stress,  or  overwhelming  pressure  he  had  over  circumstances  around  him,  or  concerning  his  missions  as  Phantom  Thieves  wasn’t  something  that  he  wanted  to  be  pressuring  for  others.  Morgana  would  have  recommended  him  to  take  a  quick  rest  eventually  before  doing  anything  once  back  home,  and  for  sure,  his  friends  would  have  noticed  he  would  be  quieter  than  usual.  Some  days  ended  up  …  complicated.  Inside  a  better  shape,  he  would  have  physical  strength  to  refuse  the  given  support,  and  handling  himself  for  the  rest  of  the  day  ---  more  than  anything,  he  didn’t  want  bothering  Sojiro-san  in  middle  of  his  work,  whatever  for  something  as  simple  of  him  having  sleeping  troubles.  Though,  he  betrayed  himself  quite  enough  inside  comfort  of  the  couch,  in  which  he  remembered  to  himself  not  to  fall  asleep.  Maybe  not  at  the  second  ---  at  least.  He  didn’t  want  suffering  consequences  for  have  dared  show  one  weakness  point  during  one  time  when  he  was  mentally  fragile all by himself.  ❝  Pressured  myself  too  much.  ❞  He  explained  inside  a  half-truth,  as  there  were  concerns,  he  cannot  speak  about  aloud.  ❝  About  the  examens,  about  my  studies  …  ❞  Here  came  the  lie,  since  it  was  something  else,  he  mostly  has  been  worried  about,  but  cannot  say  it.  He  nodded  as  he  decided  not  refusing his kind proposition. ❝ Have you brought sweets too for today ? ❞

As  the  supposed  unproblematic  student,  it  could  have  been  reasons  of  his  presence.  Rumours  spreading  by  the  other  students  or  even  how  a  good  influence  he  could  have  been  with  him  if  he  decided  to  playing  patient  with  him  ---  but  not  really  the  kind  of  path  he  decided  to  take,  right?  Though,  innocence  of  his  features,  that  managed  to  remain  without  temptation,  disappeared  for  a  moment.  He  missed  to  showing  an  intensive  contented  smile  in  front  of  someone  else.  ❝  Aren’t  your  researches  interesting?  Aren’t  your  wish  to  study  human’s  psyche  the  most  intimate  concern  coming  from  a  soul?  ❞  He  had  stories  to  tell  about  Purgatory,  about  witches,  even  about  Hades’s  support.  Nevertheless,  he  was  supposed  to  be  the  harmless,  friendly,  nice  student.  ❝  I  honestly  heard  good  things  about  it,  and  it’s  ---  attracted  my  attention.  Worldwide’s  consciousness  isn’t  an  amazing  subject  to  explore ?  ❞

Honestly, Ann isn't used to receiving praise from others - especially adults. Gossip and assumptions - now those are much more familiar to her, so to hear someone like Maruki genuinely praising her in such a way... well, it does make her a little happy. But it's also pretty awkward when she doesn't know how to respond.

"It's... fine, honestly." she starts, but it looks like she's thinking hard about what to say next. "It's not really as hard as you'd think. But..."

"That might be because I'm not putting in as much work as I should be." It's hard to explain what exactly she means, but to Ann - modeling is really just a hobby, and while she does try at school... it's only really her activities as a Phantom Thief that she really feels passionate about. Lately, though, she's been wondering if she's really content with that. After seeing how hard everyone around her has been working, Shiho most of all... she doesn't really want to take such a carefree attitude anymore.

"I don't know. It's not like I think I'm being lazy! I just really admire people who put everything they have into their goals, and I want to be more like that." For Shiho's sake especially. But she stays quiet about that for now.
