The technique of the camera obscura is very old. This photographer uses this technique to create his photo’s. He covers the windows with black material and pokes a little hole in it. Through the little hole a projection of the outside view will be seen on the wall. Upside down and mirrored. If he wants the picture to be up right he uses a prism. I think this a very nice way to still be using the camera obscura. The photo’s give a weird feel because of the combination of the inside and the outside. But i think the overall photo’s look really good

Hans Ruedi Giger

I love the alienation, the exposition of the sexuality in an alternate world. Everything is design suddenly like machines but also very provocative. There is a big intensity and deformation of everything in the composition and the shapes.

Giger is exposing the fantasme of everyone to the daylight.

Band: Sleeping with Sirens

On Tuesday 12/11/19 I saw one of my favourite bands live for the first time. That band is called Sleeping with Sirens. It was a very impulsive decision that I made just hours before the concert actually started. No regrets were found

I like how the photographer uses photography for more than just taking pictures, he is telling a story with it, no words needed.

Een beeld van Alasdair Mclellan. Dit portret sprak me enorm aan door de blik van het model en hoe de kleuren zo goed samengaan. De look van het model is ook niet het meest alledaags maar ze komt er naar mijn mening wel zeer goed mee weg.
