I call this series of pictures “Old Man and Clay.” Shout out to daughter, Pamela, for her patience and wonderful instruction on how to make a ceramic tile. Jan, Matthew, and I were her trial subjects for her ceramic unit at GBMS. These pictures show carving out and etching the initial design on to the clay tile. Once the design was transferred, the tile was fired to become bisque ready to be glazed. The glazed tile was then fired a second time yielding the final tile. My tile is my remembrance of Jan’s and my Minnesota vacation on Vermilion Lake with the Stringfields and Elders this last summer. #vermilionlake #minnesotastatebird #loons #cookmn #summervacation #lakeliving (at Great Bend, Kansas) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo7urACH5Rg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1d41k01hlk7jp

Vermilion Lake
Lago que fica quase na entrada de Banff, é necessário entrar em uma pista paralela e seguir até encontrar o lago.
Vale muito a pena a visita em qualquer época do ano.
