ogre-like genetically altered humans created by Stravinsky's mega-corps for the sole purpose of "dealing with" moon mites (and occasionally other issues they deem important)
they range from 6-8 feet tall on average, taller individuals often needing cybernetic enhancements to function properly (high ranking individuals often sport extensive cybernetic enhancements aswell)
raised and trained on a currently unnamed moon of Stravinsky, they are sent en masse to the planet, being sent to the subterranean levels of its giant cities
they utilize incendiary weaponry and highly corrosive chemicals used to completely dissolve moon mites before they get the chance to regenerate (to often mixed results)
they're big and mean, being indoctrinated into warfare and violence at a very young age (they tend to be dickheads)
there ARE examples of escapees from either Stravinsky or its moon who manage to create normal lives for themselves, and there are rumors of deserter colonies out in the frozen tundras and forests of Stravinsky...
so yeah idk LOL, i needed an excuse to draw big scary post-humans
Despite both being based on rodents, the Verminators have no direct relation to the Dynamite Mice. Their bodies are made up of completely different components, they have a separate set of behaviors, and the Verminators have a clunkier build and no tail. Another key difference is the use heavy artillery. The Verminators are fashioned with a turret on their backs that fire off large blasts of fusion matter. While they can only fire off one round at a time, these blasts have a powerful impact against anything in their range.
For close-range fighting, they also have a set of sharp, mechanical jaws. It’s much rarer for them to bite at their opponents since the turret’s barrel is suspended over their heads and would get in the way; however, they will tear into a soldier if they can get them pinned. Verminators tend to be much larger than the typical soldier, and the weight of their bodies would be too much for most people to push off by themselves with brute strength, so anyone trapped under them is greatly at their mercy. Since their hands and feet aren’t very articulated and don’t have claws, there’s a smaller risk of injury from them, so it’s more important to focus on blocking a Verminator’s bite until you can escape.
Similar to the Painsaws, these fusion monsters’ limbs are better suited for stability over mobility. They can move well enough, and their side-facing eyes allow them to detect changes in their surroundings and react to them faster, but turning is somewhat difficult for them. Rather than turn at the waist, they have to spring their bodies around (granted, they can spring on their back legs surprisingly high, so it’s something else to be wary of in itself). As such, they are much more vulnerable to attacks from the back and sides. It’s highly recommended that soldiers fight them with this to their advantage instead of trying to face the Verminators head on.
Their forelegs are thinner and weaker than their hindlegs, so they’re much easier to damage. It’s hard to pinpoint an exact weak spot other than the head, so it’s often better to take out a Verminator’s offenses than to go straight for a finishing blow.
Occasionally, their turret blasts have the ability to stun opponents, so you need to be careful. Seconds can really count when facing a Verminator since their individual attacks are so strong. There’s a brief cooldown between rounds and you can buy yourself time by diving out of their range, but it still only takes them one hit to land some serious damage.
Verminators only made an appearance in the Future due to there being so much leftover machinery from the war effort at the time. Since nanos arrived so late in the game, Earth’s forces relied on mostly technology just as we see from the remnants of the Battle of Hero’s Hallow. This stalled casualties, but was largely ineffective and, of course, only resulted in the creation of more fusion monsters once fusion spawns started rummaging through all of the scrap. Since the time-travelers’ return to the past, bringing the blueprints for nanos with them, the creation of Verminators seems to have been stalled if not halted altogether. However, I wouldn’t doubt that there might be some version of this monster lurking somewhere in Hero’s Hallow or similar locations since so much leftover material is still lying around for the taking.
This lady wants rats out of her house BUT she wants to keep them alive or at least the most humane way of taking them out.
Look, it's your fuckin fault that you have rats in ya house any got damn way. Leaving fruits, nuts, berries and all of that jazz out for them to eat. Leave the exterminator to his job.
Rats are dangerous to have creeping around ya house due to the diseases it carries and bringing the fam in to fuck up the rest with the droppings n all.
I understand if you don't want to hurt animals & bugs but this involves YOUR health......get that shit done cuz all of that "not hurting animals & bugs" flows straight out the window.
