Riverdale: Deadly Definitions 1
AN: This is a new series that I have been working on. It will eventually be Archie x reader. It both follows and improvises from the tv series with added plots for the reader’s character. For more of my writing, check out my Masterlist here.
Riverdale, the town of secrets. It was once such a simple and harmless place to live. You, Jughead, and his dad would go to the Andrew’s house for barbecues. There the two of you would play with Archie and Betty. The four of you became the best of friends. But then high school came and everyone started to go their separate ways.
Archie Andrews, the boy next door. He no longer went out of his way to talk to you. In fact, he had hardly talked to you at all since his falling out with Jughead. He spent his summer working with his Dad on their construction business. He came back with a love of music and plans to play football. He would soon be one of the star players on the Varsity team.
Betty Cooper, the perfect girl next door. Betty and you were also good friends before the falling out. But where Archie went, Betty followed. With exception of Betty, you had never cared for the Coopers. They made everyone else’s business their business. Betty tried not to play into the stereotypes. She tried to see the best in people, that is just who she was. At least who she tried to convince everyone that she was. Betty was the girl who had a secret crush on her neighbor. A crush that she was preparing to act on.
Jughead Jones, the first detective. He had a way around words and the page. If there was a mystery in town, he was going to get to the bottom of it no matter the cost. He is one of your best friends, and has been since day one. He was selfless and brilliant, with emotional baggage that could fill a closet. But that was okay. He may not have fit in at Riverdale, but he and his beanie would prove to be one of its’ greatest defenders.
Veronica Lodge, newcomer and daddy’s girl. There is not much that you know about Veronica yet. She came from the city and is the daughter of the infamous Hiram Lodge. She was here less than a day before she started changing things. She has caught Archie’s eye and befriended Betty. The two of them are now part of the vixen's cheer squad.
And finally there is you, the outlier. For those who don’t know, an outlier is a math term that is used to describe a point of data that throws off all of the other data. It is part of the set, but doesn’t seem to belong there. You were born on the South-side, your parents were serpents. They died in a mysterious accident, and now you were on your own. You slept on a hammock, occasionally crashing with Jughead if the weather was bad enough. You didn’t want to be a part of the serpents and Jughead felt the same way. The two of you stuck together, he was the closest thing you had to family.
Now, where to begin?
