Review:
When she wakes up in the hospital she has only one goal: to get revenge her husband, the man who not only broke her heart but betrayed her five years ago but to figure out how she got here we have to start at the beginning. Enzo Agosti is a man who is as beautiful as he is feared, he is repelled by women's touch.... but when he meets Allegra for the first time he knows, she's the one for him... and he'll do anything to make her his, even if it means she hates him. Allegra has spent her entire life searching for freedom and after escaping an arranged marriage by getting married to Enzo instead, she thought it'd be a new start yet her news husband has other plans. Enzo goes from hot to cold and Allegra can't help but still fall for him but everything goes wrong and now she wants revenge against her husband. Yet the Enzo she sees now is not the one she remembered but while she plans to end him Enzo is determined to get her to fall for him again because given a second chance he'll do anything for her. This book was absolutely ENTHRALLING!! The relationship dynamic and mystery of how Allegra ends up where she does is so enticing. I loved how they both were so perfect for each other yet had blunders that they overcame. I am a sucker for a Veronica Lancet romance and this one did not disappoint at all. It's twisted, it's captivating, it'll take you on a rollercoaster of emotion, but it's so worth it and I couldn't stop reading until the very end!!! Seriously adored this one!!

My favorite dark romance author Veronica Lancet has another new release! The Cute Psycho came out a few days ago but I wanted to wait to post about it till I finished it. I absolutely love a mmc who is a pure villain with a tortured soul that loves more intensely than any other being and Veronica writes them best. Her characters always have the greatest banter and can be the most adorable but jeeeeeeeeesus does she put those trigger warnings to work. This is part one of the Morally Ambiguous duet but part two will be out this year still 🙏🏼
