Okay can we talk about that serial killer in the halloween episode who Veronica set on fire? The "family man." First of all, it was wildly convenient for Veronica that just as she was going to get pumpkin pie for him right by the TV, it suddenly switched to the news to alert her that a man of "average hight and average build" who had his victims make him a meal was on the loose. the devil works hard but veronicas guardian angel works harder.
Second of all, when she ran down to the speakeasy to hide from him, she immediately filled a bowl with alcohol to dump on him and then switched out the lights. How did she know he was going to use a lighter? He stole some truckers clothes and truck- this is modern day, he probably stole his iPhone too. How did she know he wasn't going to use a phone flashlight, or even a regular flashlight?
THIRD of all, I want to know this serial killers backstory? he just,, wants a home cooked meal that bad?
and lastly- Veronica where the hell is your intuition? she said she was on edge and kept looking over her shoulder because her dad had broken into her house- but felt no off vibes when a very strange man came into pops when it was closed? yeah yeah generosity blah blah hindsight 2020; where did stranger danger go? did you learn nothing from the countless gangs, serial killers, and your own father?
