I know straight trans people who id as queer? Is this the same or in a whole different ball park?

Idk honestly? I feel like that’s different even though at the same time being trans does not make you magically incapable of being homophobic, just like being bi or pan doesn’t mean you can’t be homophobic? But I’m cis so I can’t really speak as an authority figure on this. Do any of my trans followers wanna weigh in?

I’m only mildly interested in Exile but I’m actually really excited for Maura’s book! I really need to re-read The Immortals, but I remember thinking her character was interesting and I’d like to see where it goes!

More info about Carthak would be nice, yeah, I feel like we didn’t learn that much about it in The Immortals? But yeah other than that I’m just like, why... I’d much rather have the Tris at Lightsbridge book or something about one of the future lady knights. I guess I’m just gonna have to wait. :/

Re: Maura I think she’s pretty different from the normal YA fantasy heroine, so that’s cool, her character type just isn’t one that normally appeals to me tbh
