H&S Bespoke is a home furnishing, bespoke menswear and interior design shop in Nolita. The store, which was once a firehouse amongst its many lives, is a beautiful and yet, mysterious place because of its history. It's a respite in the city, a quiet little spot behind the front of the Elizabeth Street Gallery.
We went for a moody 90's look to capture a city girl in the countryside which best matched the ambiance of the store and the story we wanted to tell with our two designers: OScar and Anna and Eleen Halvorsen.
Wearing up and coming designer, noted as "one to watch" by Refinery29.com, Eleen Halvorsen, we captured a mood that bridged the fun/luxury aspect of Oscar and Anna bags accomplishing an edgier style.
Eleen takes a minimalist approach to her design that is infused with a severeness and etherealness that is part Scandinavian, where she is from, and part New York City, where she lives now. The clothing is at once sexy/daring and unique, but anchored in a style currency that is modern and timeless.
Her apparel is wearable rocker chic and we love it! For more visit her site, http://www.eleenhalvorsen.com/.
