I’ve been on Facebook Marketplace to sell some stuff after having not used that hellsite for well over a decade. I stopped using Facebook before I graduated high school.

But now that I’m on there, people keep messaging me.

Hi!! I just wanted to say about 5 years ago I found your writing on Deviantart and thought it was just so cute and fun to read and recently I went back and reread all your writing that I enjoyed when I was younger and it was really nostalgic and I wanted to thank you for keeping it all posted! I hope you’re still writing bc I loved and still love the characters you bring to life!!

No exaggeration, this is the sweetest and most touching thing anyone has ever said to me about my writing. I read this last night and got a little misty eyed because WOW not only did someone read my writing, someone remembered it, and years later read it again.

I’m happy to report that I still write, but not nearly as much as I used (because adult life, y’know). I’ve even recycled some of those characters from my deviantart stuff into new plots and story lines. But man, I’m suddenly feeling super motivated! And I’m probably going to to go back and read my old stuff too which I haven’t done in FOREVER.

Anyways, thank you so so much, whoever you are, for messaging me. You didn’t just make my day, you made my entire year with this(:

I’m at that level of procrastination that I did one of those “redraw your old artwork” things in order to get out of doing homework. The one on the right was done in September of 2011. Exactly 4 years and a month later, I made the one on the left. I might digitalize and color the new one if I have time, but for now here’s the sketches.

Oh and I’d like to dedicate this to verosario because not only is Nerezza a character in her book, but also she mentioned recentlyish that people don’t make fanart of her characters anymore and I’d like her to know that I still do, I just don’t post most of it because it doesn’t come out well ;)
