My grand return to tumblr just to post this REALLY rough WIP of my Pathfinder character, Mirume. I’m still lining the picture but I thought I’d slap down some colors to test her palette and I am in love. Mirume could step on me and I would say thank you.

Haven’t drawn in a while and I woke up early this morning so I thought hey, why not draw Alpha’s back for some kind of anatomy practice. Can you judge me? Yes, yes you can but please don’t

I colored that sketch instead of finishing my homework. This is my life, these are my choices. Also, when coloring this I realized that I never specified the colors for Nerezza’s outfit (and I don’t think @verosario did either) oops also I appear to have a thing for knee high boots with wedge heels

I’m at that level of procrastination that I did one of those “redraw your old artwork” things in order to get out of doing homework. The one on the right was done in September of 2011. Exactly 4 years and a month later, I made the one on the left. I might digitalize and color the new one if I have time, but for now here’s the sketches.

Oh and I’d like to dedicate this to verosario because not only is Nerezza a character in her book, but also she mentioned recentlyish that people don’t make fanart of her characters anymore and I’d like her to know that I still do, I just don’t post most of it because it doesn’t come out well ;)

Couldn’t decide if I liked the original colors or the pink-ish filter better. Either way, here’s the Fairy Tail OC I was peer pressured into making with a bit of practice in front-facing views and shading. Teagan just makes me really happy, okay?

“And why should I risk my neck for someone I don’t even know?” Rashkovsky tapped his foot, clearly unimpressed with the dramatic display of having their meeting on the balcony of an apartment building at night.

She shrugged the coat off of her right shoulder and scowled at the indignant man across from her. His eyes widened at the sight of the tattoo spread over her skin. The tattoo had faded a bit from its original blindingly bright colors, but was still distinctly recognizable. “Does this symbol mean anything to you?” She demanded, her scowl slowly turning to a smirk as she witnessed his realization.

“But... but I thought...” he stammered out, his jaw slack from shock.

“Yeah, you thought.” She flipped the coat back up on to her shoulder and held out her hand. “So, are you in?”

It occurs to me that I never posted this because I was going to put the Aces logo on the car but I kept forgetting. Whatever. Here’s The Aces in their natural habitat; lounging on their car (aka The Pimpmobile) for no apparent reason.

Isn’t it great being the mother figure in your old crew? Not when it comes with unexpected criminal activity at 3 AM. Surprise guest in the near future? We’ll see.

Why is it that I almost exclusively draw my own character? It’s because when I fuck up I can just pretend it’s part of the character design that I’m adjusting.

I have already butchered Lauren’s design but this is our relationship in a nutshell. She doesn’t actually hate me though.

Seriously guys I asked for ONE THING. Lauren still doesn’t have a nickname because I honestly couldn’t think of one (yes the crossed out ones were actually my first two sucky attempts) but Hannah gets to be Red because she’s a ginger until she actually gives me a real codename.

Yes she absolutely runs around shooting people in a skirt and combat boots except when she’s in her crew outfit but honestly she’s not so active in the crew anymore and by she I mean me because 90% of the crew is comprised of sexist/racist/ableist jerks and I’m the only girl and I’m not great at shooters so they pick on me but this is not a discussion for my art blog

I like to think I’m getting better at shading. Whether this is true or not I don’t really know...
