Verse 10: Billy Anderson
Verse specifically tied to @anderson-residence and their abundance of muses
In this verse my headcanon about Billy becoming a heroin addict and a victim of grooming never happens because the day it was supposed to he instead gets picked up by Lieutenant Hank Anderson. After a foot chase, arresting the dealer who nearly got to Billy, and a very long and difficult talk at the station, Billy finally admits to what had him running from Hank in the first place. The abuse from his father and distrust of police because he’s tried to get help before only to be betrayed.
Billy was thirteen when he got picked up and put in the system. Thankfully, Hank was a foster parent himself so it was easy for him to get custody. He had several other children in the house which was a bit of a curve for Billy who’s been an only child his whole life. At first he struggled getting used to them (especially Mayson, he’s feral) but he’s grown to love them all entirely.
((This verse is very out of character for Billy. It’s set in a modern AU mostly involving characters from Detroit: Become Human, The Outsiders, etc. It’s essentially my take on how Billy could’ve been if he was raised in a loving, accepting home instead of under Neil’s heel.))
A couple years later they bring Johnny into the family and with him comes his friends including Steve. And Billy loves that little trainwreck.
