John's eyes lingered at the wooden door in the apartments hall.

It felt forever since he had a drunken night, pants falling from his ankles. 

"Anna---"

Anna stared at the roundness that had begun to show on her stomach. What felt like the flicker of butterflies made her smile just a bit. It wasn't anything she had expected, but it also was exactly what she wanted. She wondered if John had noticed yet that her stomach was no longer flat. If he had, it was nothing he had mentioned. (I hope you don't mind!)

Johnathan's mouth suddenly felt dry, which caused him to stirr in his deep and comfortable sleep, the former pirate stretched his long aching legs, eyes slowly fluttering open to see a wide awake Anna, a smile to his lips. Moving on his side, a slow arm reaches over to place his hand on her swollen belly. "I'm starting to grow impatient, darling."

"I love you, John. Ava and I will be fine. You need to open the bar."

Johnathan needed to take a walk. Clear his head. To get the ringing of a cry out of his head. Heading towards the docks, he shoved his hands in his pockets. Not really caring if he ran into anyone in town, or not. The former Pirate Prince did however, spot a few people he came across in his bar once or twice.
