I was watching #DirtyDancing the other night and couldn’t help but imagine a fic where professional dancer Eddie working at a resort for the summer as the dance instructor. There for the summer is rich preppy boy Steve Harrington. Sought after by all due to daddies lucrative ties, money but foremost how gorgeous he is (Steve).
Not Eddie assuming Harrington is the typical resort snob while Steve pines over the gorgeous dance instructor with the luscious long locks, toned physique and dangerous way about him. Finding ways to have them interact, be that by buying private dance lessons, even though he is a well off dancer. Not having Nancy Wheeler be his instructor the first few times until he request Eddie.
Which gives everyone more reason to loath Munson even more because he’s all about controversy, stirring the pot all while smiling deviously, not to mention two males as dance partners, nay-nay.
Not Steve assuming Nancy and Eddie are an item when he witnesses them tenderly embracing and kiss, not realizing they only see one another as platonic soulmates.
That is until Argyle spills the beans when Steve tags along for a staff bash in their quarters, where immense shenanigans ensue. A pickle of all pickles only Steve can help them out of.
Where both males bond, Eddie realizing there’s more to Steve than he ever gave thought too.
Steve finding out Eddie is bi-sexual and offers his love to all the wrong people of the resort that use him for sex.
Not Eddie and Steve being stranded, arguing then talking, finally kissing and taking that leap and sleeping together… HUGE dance sequence and SURPRISE!! We love one another! Deal with it!
