Their wedding had been absolutely perfect. Tony did wind up being almost an hour late, and Rhodey did have a tooth missing for the wedding photos, both of which caused Bruce to spend his entire wedding with green eyes This meaning all of their wedding photos had a little bit of the Hulk. That didn’t matter. He had finally gotten to marry the man he had only spent what felt like forever dreaming about.
Bruce was even more excited that their honeymoon was upon them. Tony had been keeping the honeymoon a secret, which was probably why Bruce wasn’t allowed to pack his own clothes or anything along those lines.
They were at the airport, Bruce looked down at his now-healed wrist with a little arc reactor tattooed into it with a smile. “Are you ever going to tell me where we’re going? This is kind of killing me, Stark.”

arcreacted It had been days since Bruce heard from Tony. After their argument over Bruce signing the registration bill, Tony had gotten called out on a mission, so there really wasn't any time for them to make things up to one another like they usually would. Bruce figured that if he could find a way to truly suppress the Hulk, then there would be no reason for him to sign which was why he had taken anything and everything possible for him to not change. Which couldn't have come at a worse time. The whole reason Tony hadn't come home yet was because a team of ex HYDRA militants had taken Tony hostage and crushed his iron man suit, making it impossible for Tony to even call out for help. The only reason Bruce had even found out was because Cap had found his coordinates, but the team had decided it was too dangerous for anyone that wasn't the Hulk to do. Of course Bruce had to be the Hulk. Bruce was worried sick the entire time to the base. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to change in time, which was true. However, he did have a backup plan. Of course even that wasn't set in stone. Cap and Natasha had dropped Bruce off a few feet away from the base, quickly flying off and wondering why he didn't immediately change. He snuck into the base and looked around, punching out a few guys and taking their weapons. Which actually worked out pretty well until one of the goons sucker punched Bruce and knocked him out, dragging him to where they were holding Tony.
I just imagined Tony and Bruce being super pissed off at each other so when the whole team meets they’re just like “Dr. Banner.” “Mr. Stark.” And say literally nothing else but they keep glancing at one another.
