[‘Hey...’] Kare grumbled, voicing ringing internal towards Rekka.

Staying in a dormant state was needed when in a contract. He’s a powerful demon, and doesn’t want to wear his Master’s soul too much. Any danger, and he would awaken, but such was clearly not the case.

"His bedtime is at seven, so about four hours from now. Remember your highness, whatever you do, don't let him get his paws on anything sharp." Meta Knight huffed after dumping all those guidelines on the poor young prince.

"Thank you for doing this last minute, Prince Fluff." The knight bowed out of respect and gratitude, then returned to standing up straight. "Son, be good and play nice."

The young puff, who had been absentmindedly sucking on a lollipop, snapped out of his daydream as he heard his father say 'son.' Sand pulled the candy out of his mouth and said "Yes Papa!" Before sucking on it once more.

"I'll pick him up around nine. Thank you again, your highness. Bye, Sand." The father pat his child's fluffy head before turning around, spreading his wings and flying off in a hurry...

Sand turned to face Fluff. Just staring and making things weird.
