“I’m talking about myself of course, I could use a strong lady.”
Continued from here // @daemonknight
“Its exactly as you said, a bad omen come true. A spear from a warrior who fault well.” Slowly they dropped to the ground, at first their look was naughty, angry, looking down at the other. But the long she had to speak, the more their true emotion started to show.
“Its a promise to my sister I killed. That I would tell her master, how glorious her last moments were...before I had to finish her job of killing you for mother.” The pink haired girl unhooked off her side, a red dyed hatchet.
A Voice Of Many
@deoculomentis // Starter
The last thing she entirely remembered was seeing her sister’s face, a sad look in her eyes as she had pieced Greed back together. Using the best parts she could find, the most human parts, the stuff that could let her blend in the best.
Then, with a push, she was gone. Greed had tried to usurp Core, she had tried to gather all her sisters, what was left of them, and now she had nothing. Dropped in some strange place, dozens of voices calling out to try and decide what to do next.
“Please, stop.” Greed couldn’t bring herself to move yet, she was dropped somewhere not so remote, in front of large doors, perhaps a gate? There was a building but she was too distraught by what was going on in her head.
While outside words asked for mercy, inside words were a jumbled mess. “We have to go.” “There’s nothing here.” “Where is Lust?” “Greed how dare you!” “Move move.” “Sit and die.” “What are you doing?” “What is this place?”
All of these, thoughts from others in her head, unable to mess with her mind, all resisting, trying to control her. It was a chorus of voices, and the hearts all just as confused, conflicting, a train wreck that sounded like a crowd but only from one.
But even still, even with all of that in her head. Greed was able to pick herself up, to push her hands through the entrance to the Palace of Earth Spirits.
Forest Wilds
@fxtelism - A walk through the forest, care to join me?
The feeling of magic permeated this place, filling the witch’s lungs with such joy. A ginger walk into the woods, woods that all the locals seemed keen on avoiding, the wood that held strange rumors. It wouldn’t be the first time Jeanne followed this type of rumor, these whispers of someone living in the woods. Things of rumor and myth, they were always the best to follow.
But of course she couldn’t go waltzing in with her usual attitude, a kinder approach needed to be taken.
A softer expression of curiosity that intruded on this place, as if looking for something so innocent, so unexpected getting lost in the woods. Yes this would be a stance to take, just in case any curious eyes or ears were beset on her, in case anyone would come looking as to who, just wandered into the woods.
Here Rests My Fight
@wanderinghellkitten // Starter for Hailey
How long had it been since they last met, not too long but for Pride it had felt liek ages. The first time so jovial, so nice, so calm, it left the android with a good impression of the girl. And now, unsure what to do with herself, tired and fatigued and refusing to return home.
Pride found herself wandering the same place that she and Hailey met, tired looking eyes, odd for an android, but her mind had had no rest. No since seeing what her sister had done, not since hearing what happened to the others.
she wanted out, and the only out she knew of, was this new found friend, this acquaintance.
If only she could find her, no wishing to push herself too far less true mental fatigue take over and she collapse. An android collapsing in public, not the best thing to happen.
A lesser evil
@wanderinghellkitten
As Jeanne promised, the next time Hailey would even get a whiff of her scent, of her magic presence would not be the next time Jeanne came to visit. But instead from a very different looking girl, one that for the moment seemed focused on purchasing what appeared to be a set of yarn and needles, strange really for someone with such a stern look on their face.
At least, until the purchase was complete and the items stored. Then this odd girl would smile briefly, breaking that almost ‘prideful’ look before turning her attention upon the set of eyes that was no doubt, probably focused on her too. “Hello.”
“Are you Hailey?”
Envy Torn, Envy Worn
@parseemizuhashi // A little damage, its nothing
A little time had passed, duties to attend to drawing Mirana away from Parsee. Not that she wished to leave, but there was an obligation to her mother, to her sisters to fight. To command and control, but even with a distance akin to universes separating her from her goddess, the marks all over her body reminded her of her new purpose. One that she so wished to reach once this war was over.
In the meantime her visits were short, returning to her goddess’ side to show more devotion, more envy, more jealousy. This visit itself, a special meal prepared, something set up that she knew her goddess would love. But first thing first, would be the condition she would return to Parsee in.
Having finished another mission, ambushed by one of the cycles, the powerful Unilari pushing Mirana’s body to her limit. Burns, cuts, magical impacts that dented in muscle and skin, red streaks down her arm and leg. The android had gone through quiet the ordeal, pace was slowed, and repairs were delayed. After all, she had to pick her repairs carefully. She wished not to undo the marks so lovingly given to her.
“My goddess?” Approaching the bridge, this walking mess of a body, it didn’t occur to Mirana what the reaction might be. Pain? Anger? Jealousy? The fact something else had labeled the android with so many wounds.
“I am home! As promised!” Mirana could not guess, nor did she want to.
You’ve Lost Favor
Laying in the grass, an unknown place, an unknown time, the only thing that matters was what had just come before. An entire civil war, a galactic conflict that spanned a thousand star systems.
Multiple empires, creatures from every plane of existence, every dimension and then some. Her empire, split in half, the other half bent on killing all. The family lost, the daughters taken, the rest vanished.
Staring up at the moon, Jeanne found herself lost in thought. She lost, she lost everything. Her home, her foundation, the family she created, and even the very few that she could see eye to eye with.
Gritting her teeth, scowling at the stars above. There were no words being spoken to her, nothing audible, nothing to be seen. But as she stared, it was always like something was laying a punishment upon her.
Yes Jeanne had lost, not only had she lost so much, she had lost to multiple people one after another. Weak people, pathetic people, creatures that she had no reason to lose to.
She had shown, just how weak she could be, and this wasn’t appreciated. Her life was a game for the old ones after all, and they disliked seeing such poor lacking results. They never did interfere directly, they never designed the games their toys experienced. But they did judge, all the time watching their specs play.
Jeanne’s patron, one that made her a simple deal. She kept it entertained, somehow keeping herself relevant, and in turn, her power unmatched. But she failed, her fall was great, but nothing remained. How could they enjoy such grand games, without a game board?
With Jeanne at the helm, the show had closed. So the old one, the great sleeping idiot, decided. A new show master was in order, one they were fond of, one that always seemed to bring an entertaining show. And with a piece like Jeanne, a prize like the witch, what couldn’t be done? If the witch was too weak, and was too kind, too reluctant to act?
Then perhaps the new master wouldn’t be?
Jeanne’s scowl remained, forced to lay there. The first while, she simply didn’t move, but now she couldn’t.
“So that is how this starts huh.. Azathoth... that fucking old one.. you fucki-” Her words, silenced. A hand placing its finger across her lips before silence took control.
Standing over her, the new face simply grinning happily. What a wonderful toy to have.
“Yes indeed! I’ve been watching you a long time Jeanne Beaulieu, oh how fun this’ll be! I can’t believe it, I can’t believe I get you.”
Bending down, straddling the trapped blonde. Placing hands on her cheeks, staring so happily into her eyes. “You’re my toy now. How does it feel? You strove for ages, calling yourself witch? You’re just a magus, a mage!”
“I’m a witch. And I’ll show you Jeanne Beaulieu, Jeanne Coeur Beaulieu, how to truly use your powers, to use that body of yours, I’ll give you a purpose. Since you have none, tossed away! So enjoy life!”
“As my toy.” The unknown witch leaned forward placing her forehead to Jeanne’s as the blojnde couldn’t move.
“Because you’re all mine now.”
Forcing one last action, this witch pressed her lips to Jeanne’s, forcing a kiss on the frozen woman’s mouth. All before dissipating into a flutter of flower petals as Jeanne could finally move.
Striking out, a wave of fire rolled over the hill. But she was gone, “Dammit... dammit dammit dammit.”
