||~||          Ah- he wasn’t in a very good mood. He never was in a good mood, ever. But, being here now, on the path of both Nohr and Hoshido, he felt a little less pressure than when he was once alone on the side of Nohr.

          It was also nice that there was so many people from Nohr here as well. Comforting even. But there was also Belka, the retainer of his sister, and if he remembered correctly, the assassin who was meant to kill him and his family, but never got around to it. Instead she was just a cold creature who loitered around his sister. Speaking of... where was she? It was always a good idea to keep an eye on that one..

||~||          He had a lot of time to think now. Now that he wasn’t leading an army anymore. Instead he was a solider, and a commander of someone else’s army. Kaumi’s army, to be exact. 

        Over the coarse of his first week here, he had been bitter, and rather painfully cold and distant with all people. Who could blame him?He just had his father reveal to him his plans to run both Hoshido and Nohr into the ground, and to destroy everything and everyone. Marx had to take a few days to straighten out his thoughts, because honestly, he was a broken man. Everything he knew, his way of life, his people, his father, his country. It all seemed like a big fat lie to him now. 

        So yes, he was distant, and distraught. And especially distant from those form Hoshido. But he was coming around, slowly. He had already started speaking with Sakura, she wasn’t to bad. Friendly even, and a lot like himself when he was a child. He wasn’t even going to try with Takumi- and Ryoma was just as wary. So all that was left was Hinoka.

        It didn’t help to much that he saw her walking about their base camp, doing her work, and he’d keep staring at her. If he was a normal person, he’d get up and say something. But then again he wasn’t so normal anymore-or at all to begin with.

||~||          He often heard in rumors and word of mouth of how she was doing in Hoshido, the girl that was kidnapped from Nohr. So it was a mediocre surprise when he found her walking away from the camp of tents and soldiers.

          Well, he first spotted Aqua when he accepted to join Kaumi’s army. She was standing beside Kaumi with a dull face. But he never said anything to her, not any at all really. He was very bitter, but he knew what he had to do, and he had to put an end to his father’s plans. 

          But now he wandered off, following Aqua from the busy town of resting tents and into a more calm place. The calm of the meadows and fields suited her, in his opinion. He hadn’t seen her in.. so long. He felt a little nostalgic. 

          It would be rude of him to stay standing there with out making himself announced, so he coughed into his fist, a rather awkward look on his face as he took a few short steps forward, “Aqua?” He tested her name. It’s been a long time since he spoke it, “It’s been awhile. I’m sorry to intrude, but, I was curious to see if it was really you,”

||~||          The war at first was simple. There was one enemy, one country to fight against. But now he had sided with Kaumi, who he first deemed a traitor, into fighting a war against something he hardly even understood. 

         All he knew was that he was working together, with his own family, and Hoshido’s family to bring an end to tempering of their kingdoms from some invisible other kingdom he couldn’t see. It was all very complicated. 

         Which is why he was seeking out Kaumi. He’d be lying if he didn’t still feel a little bitter, but he found said dragon lord off by himself. And Marx would approach on light steps, then clear his throat. Ah, his stubborn will was screaming because he was about to ask for help, “Mh- Kaumi? Do you have a moment?”

╭║✦♱✦║╮        Everything was so calm, it quiet. It was nice. Marx stood behind his father's leg, holding onto him with tiny fits twisted into the cloth of his father's pants. The child was no more than five years of age. A young, small little prince who red rusty eyes shined with stars.

       The King had brought the boy out into the warmth of the sunny hallways surrounding the gardens to meet his new family. New family wasn't something Marx was very well.... new too. His father has many wives, and many children. So today wasn't anything special. But Still he was shy.

       When his father introduced him, Marx quickly skidded out from behind his hiding place. He stood with his large eyes focused on the ground, and arms neatly held behind his back. He was so nervous, so jumpy. What if they didn't like him? What if this new wife was mean? She had a daughter too, what if she didn't like him.... But then again the girl was only a baby.... He was thinking to much. Maybe he should look up and meet them and stop hiding his face.

      || ~*~ || “I- I never had any pl-plans to do that w-with anyone!!” What was going on? Was she drunk? Was she serious? Marx felt the need to freak out a little because he naturally was good with such statements. 

      He often over analyze things, look a little to deep into their meaning. Here he was though with the Queen of Hoshido saying something like this to him. Out in the open? Should he act professional or should he act on instinct, or should he just blush more so than he was now while trying to be less confused? Either way, Marx felt like he was going to get yelled at no matter what he did.
