[ Unexpected Stranger ]

「⚜」- A normal day it was in the land of Pherae. It had always been known as some of the most peaceful territories in Lycia, even though all the conflicts that went on in the recent years. Wolt was on patrol of the castle, a daily duty he had to do. Not the most entertaining job, but it did offer a nice view of the city from where he stood. 

 ...All of a sudden, the young man had seen a bright flash, so blinding that he had shut his eyes. When he got the chance to open his eyes again, that light was gone and what remained was a someone falling into a large shrubbery not far off from where Wolt was at. Without hesitation, he ran to the location where he believed he saw the figure fall to. This certainly wasn’t something that would happen normally.

      “Nii-sama...” Sakura whispered, as she fixated her gaze onto Kamui. He looked very troubled, to say the least. Even though it hadn’t been a long time since they were recently reunited, Sakura felt like she had to do something to ease him. She heard her siblings mention something about her older brother suffering from these ‘visionaries’, so that must be why he looked so disheveled.

      “Are you alright? I-It looks like you didn’t get enough sleep...” She spoke, albeit hesitantly, as she nimbly held her staff in her hands. “Maybe it’ll be better if you rest today... there’s not a battle anytime soon.”

          It was Silas’ turn to guard the young prince this night, with the camp silent and the wind still, it was turning out to be a peaceful night. In fact, the knight could barely keep his eyes open it was so quiet. His eyelids fluttering and a string of yawns leaving his mouth, only to be interrupted by shuffling from inside Kamui’s tent, the cavalier poking his head into the tent to see if he was alright.

               “Having trouble sleeping again?” Silas offered the other a warm smile as a small sort of comfort.

||~||          The war at first was simple. There was one enemy, one country to fight against. But now he had sided with Kaumi, who he first deemed a traitor, into fighting a war against something he hardly even understood. 

         All he knew was that he was working together, with his own family, and Hoshido’s family to bring an end to tempering of their kingdoms from some invisible other kingdom he couldn’t see. It was all very complicated. 

         Which is why he was seeking out Kaumi. He’d be lying if he didn’t still feel a little bitter, but he found said dragon lord off by himself. And Marx would approach on light steps, then clear his throat. Ah, his stubborn will was screaming because he was about to ask for help, “Mh- Kaumi? Do you have a moment?”

   “Heeeey! You’re new here aren’t’cha?” Pit asked, a friendly grin printed on features. Azure hues scanned the man before him, taking note of his distinct lack of shoes. “Your armour looks reeeeaaaally cool, where’d you get it? ‘Nd if ya don’t mind me askin’, what’s with the whole no shoes thing?”
