I have this headcanon that Inupapa was married to Sessmom and Izayoi at the same time and it's glorious. Like sometimes my brain makes it polyamory and sometimes just straight up polygyny (hey it's feudal japan bro) and it doesn't even matter i just need. it. Sessmom swings both ways and in the course of trying to get to the bottom of why her hubby is so fascinated by this wimpy mortal woman goes and FALLS IN LOVE WITH HER like a nerd. And Paps over there like "haha i told u". I just want her protecting Izzy with her claws and running her hands through her hair and (◡‿◡✿) And Izayoi being like some crazy Kikyo/Kagome amalgam smush woman who is very poised and ladylike on the outside, like a perfect delicate flower woman, but on the inside she's emotional and volatile and totally unapologetic and once she gets a grip on this whole marriage thing she whips their frikking sky castle into shape no joke. (ok I realize it's doubtful she ever lived in that castle but sshhh) And Inupapa thinks he's the boss but lololololololollllllll
