‘ Hay Lin? What was that?? ‘  she could hear her mom calling. Maybe she should have listened when her mom told her not to jump on the bed. When she had felt the wood beneath her crack, Hay Lin found herself landing on the mattress with a huge thud. “Nothing!!” she responded, attempting to make her voice sound as chipper as possible. Wide eyes turned to Irma who had spun around on her desk chair, bottom lip sucked in under her top lip. “Uh— how do we hide this??”

Right, the aliens! She had forgotten all about the event. They were here to save them. Yan Lin turned around as the door to their restaurant opened to greet the new guest. She had to admit that seeing one of Hay Lin’s friends caught her off guard. Had the girls already picked up on the change that was happening around them? She could not tell, but if the oracle could be trusted - and she was sure of that much - it was about to happen any time now. It felt good to know the end of her assignment, that heavy duty, approaching. Yet she could feel herself becoming afraid of the imminent goodbye. A foolish notion after so many years... The old woman sighed before approaching the younger girl with a smile. “Irma? I wish you a good day, but I must ask what brings you here? Hay Lin’s not home. I thought she was with you girls.”

  BLOOD. -What types of injuries has your muse sustained? What was the worst?

Being the guardian of the heart of Kandrakar, the injuries that all guardians have sustained together varies. Rarely do they ever come home without a few scrapes and bruises, considering that they are only human, after all. There have been some broken bones, but fortunately, they watched out for each other and ensured none of them really got too hurt. There are a few scars running down Nerissa’s arms and legs. One of the worst she has received is on her hip.

   FEAR. -What are your muses biggest fears?

Feeling the sense of weakness again. Nerissa’s character is very power hungry, she’d rather see other people die than to become the small, weak girl she once used to be. The heart changed her, it gave her power to rely on. To help her through her daily life. Just the mere knowledge of it being there strengthened her mentally, making her no longer fearful of bullies. It aided her when dealing with her anxiety, the heart was soothing to her. Strengthened her when she felt at her worst. Her first fear had been losing the heart of Kandrakar. With it being lost and regaining her strength, her biggest fear is to become pitiful and weak.

Sighing Orube lowered her head as her fringe covered her golden eyes. This was so frustrating. She had put up with Irma before… but usually it was with another guardian by her side. But her and Irma left alone in a room together with no one to stop them tearing strips off each other? This would be interesting. “Remind me again why I am the one babysitting?” Okay, so actually it was Irma that was here to keep an eye on Orube after she nearly BURNED DOWN Mrs Rudolph’s house { hey she was getting better at using the cooker now, alright? }. But she wasn’t going to pretend she was happy about it.
