I’ve been working on this for a long while, but now; DnD crew is finally done & ready to kick some ass! 💪✨
hey i haven’t drawn, like, ANY of my regular ol’ furry characters besides sylvest in a billion years. here’s verun!
Have you played Baldur's Gate with your lovely dnd OC Verun by any chance? I feel like he would have a reaction to the mindflayers and tadpoles.
I haven't! I think of my characters really as inhabitants of their own world and story so I don't often carry them different places. This is why I can never bring myself make multiple characters for a game lol. That story's already being told.
That being said, Verun would definitely have something to say about them! He can speak abyssal with the help of Augnumora-- who would be extremely territorial over Verun's brain getting invaded by foreign worms. He can be heavy-handed though which eventually he becomes aware of, so it wouldn't be so simple. Good for the plot!
You're up at night a lot.
Even in your room I have rubbed soot from the wall
where your eyes have been
Verun, before
O God, our Radiant Mantle, with Who we shall fear not cold, nor hunger, nor any evil thing that howl and thresh our door, For You guide us to Your light, for our suffering is that of Your own, and Your suffering is that of our suffering;
Keep us.
✥ More about him
Thinking about where Verun's village again in the north. The woman wearing the ring he looked up to as a mother when he was small, then as a teacher to guide him through the hardship and beauty of all things-- so that one day, if it willed, he may guide others, too.
Before she sentenced him to death she locked herself in her quarters and prayed for two days. She prayed for the strength to do what was right.
A couple years ago I planned a big comic for our dnd party's fairy masquerade and while I didn't get past boards I thought I should pull verun's Trauma Response to his partner reveal from the smoldering wreckage
