What happened to the shirts? I keep seeing something with refunds? I bought a pin, so this doesn't apply to me, just sad if I missed my shirt chance!

well i ordered samples months ago to test to see if 1) they were good quality and 2) if they would be flagged down since they’re “star trek” and everything went through fine, so i went ahead and made the listings and opened shop.

i received like 20 shirt orders on launch day and everything was going fine until a few hours later i started getting emails saying orders were being put on hold for review, and long story short there was nothing i could do to get them printed and sent out so i had to cancel all the orders, refund everyone their money, and delete the listings. very very disheartened by the whole thing, but i’m trying to learn and push forward.

the annoying thing is that before i published the shirt listings, i double checked on etsy to see if others were selling star trek shirts from print on demand sites and there were a bunch, so that made me even more confident in selling them. maybe it was because i got so many orders at once it was easy for them to flag? i don’t really know but it sucks because i know so many people we’re excited for them. luckily enough, 3 shirts were already printed and sent out in the UK before orders stared being held, so those people get some cool exclusive merch
