i can appreciate some misdirection and intentional confusion in a film that make the audience wonder what’s real and what isn’t, but at a certain point the constant “but none of that even actually happened” or “and then i woke up” moments feel like half assed attempts at a twist and it gets kinda stale. when i’m watching these movies i feel like i’m watching an untalented dog perform the only trick it knows
