very big fan of having my own little personal discord server specifically to write down and organize all my dumb little story ideas for future reference. My memory has become poor in my old age (24) so now I must keep notes about all my various projects

No offense was taken, though I think bitterness is warranted. The housing system is fucked, to put it briefly, and grabbing plots at the ass crack of dawn as the servers flip out and overload shouldn't be people's rare shot to get a small house! The timer system was a bandaid fix on an even worse system of bots and reselling, but that doesn't mean it can't be fixed further. And new wards are nice, but it's really not a full fix either. People can't sit at a placard for 10 hours clicking with a dozen other people, believe me, it sucks! I'm not doing it again!

A lottery system is a solution I think would work well, or at least well enough. Put the gil down in a 24 hour period, at the end of it, one person is randomly chosen and has another 24 hours to accept the plot. If they do not, the process begins again. You can only put money down for one plot at a time, too. If no one puts money down on the plot in that first 24 hours, it goes up for instant sale and begins devaluing.

And it's really gd clear be need a relo cooldown, people should not be able to hop houses and reset timers repeatedly until they run out of gil. Even just a few hours cooldown would have cut down on the relo trolling significantly.

Until then, preload the patch and keep refreshing the play button, for when I'm sure this is going to happen again. It sounds like they want to install new servers to expand wards, and we'll be getting Ishgard wards at some point too, I'm betting we'll be seeing this song and dance again before too long.

And until then, idk, all there is to do is click at a placard between queues, lost plenty of plots after sitting there for 6 hours to some person that walked up in the last 15 minutes. Goblet tends to be the least likely to be transferred to. And definitely join this discord https://discord.gg/rEA9872 get your roles and get notifications for what plots you're watching for, it's how I got my original plots. They try and call out primetimes too, so if you can only spare an hour to clicking before you go mad, might as well try and do it around the time it's most likely to pop.
