I spotted two VERY GOOD and possibly subtle cinematic Silence of the Lambs references in the first half of S4 of Scandal. I thought I saw a couple previously, but obviously I'm going to come back to this series again and again. Eventually I'll have more to say overall about the genius of this show, not only the writing and these little touches, but the genius of its existence, but I'm still putting my thoughts together and they are still so so new and squishy i want to keep them to myself and cuddle them with a wild hallucinated grin.
