A/N: There are some cheeky references in here but I don't think anyone will find them lmao
Her hair smells of strawberries, and comfort, and home. Your cheek pressed against hers, the wind blowing her ever so soft golden hair into your face, you breathe her in and smile. You don't do anything except hug, but her arms around your waist bring warmth into your cheeks and a tingly feeling spreads through your body.
This moment is perfect, but it won't last.
You weren't supposed to fall in love with her. She was just an actress in one of your music videos. You were supposed to film with her, and move on, ultimately forgetting her face. Her name.
But how could you forget her? She stole your heartbeat the moment your eyes fell upon her, and she stole your heart itself the moment she said hello.
It was infatuation. A crush. Nothing more.
But you wanted to dance with her, to kiss her, wanted to hold her, wanted to make her laugh and make her cry, to dry her tears and tell her everything was going to be all right.
You wanted to love her.
She was witty. And she could make you laugh until your cheeks hurt. She had all the words to all the stories, and her storytelling could pull the rock beneath your feet and shake you to the ground.
She had the best smile. The best laugh. You could listen to her voice for the rest of eternity and never get tired. Everything about her was beautiful, and you loved every part of her, even the things she hated.
But as the director calls cut and she pulls away, you know you will never have her.
How could you ever think so?
