DNA & Fear for any muse of your chosing!
I was feeling warriorboi - Veshale for this one.
DNA. -What was your muses home life like?
I play around with Veshale’s early years a lot. He has a lot of wiggle-room as not exactly a character I flesh out or bring around a lot since his purpose is as a villainous plot-push when needed/desired.
I spoke to @jessipalooza about this but I’m tossing around the concept of having him have been the street urchin that Thanidiel disfigured in my First Blood snippet and me and her fleshed out the story/potential rivalry between those characters a lot in a scene between Bricini and Thanidiel that focused on childhood.
It’s a really enticing idea for me, tbh. It supports his character aesthetic a lot because I give him scary animal-like helmets etc that cover his entire face and a Thanidiel - Veshale rivalry throughout the military would be really cool to write from his perspective. The Achilles to her Bean.
FEAR. -What are your muses biggest fears?
For Veshale, his biggest fear is a loss of direction. He’s a pretty fucking dumb person, to be honest. Rabid dog/wolf imagery comes up a lot concerning this character. He needs a collar and he needs someone holding it. He flounders without it, his life descends into complete and utter anarchy. He has no purpose other than to serve someone else’s.
Which is why he’s so easily taken advantage of by other characters and groups, especially those with bad intent who are less guiding and vague and more ‘enact my will in these steps.’
