The twins could not be more different, but the one thing they have in common is being extremely intelligent.

It made them absolutely impossible to handle as children because they were always getting into things and places they shouldn't and while Ves mostly outgrows the habit, he is always - without question - down for whatever chaos Vitaelius brings to his doorstep.

They are the definition of ride or die for each other. Maybe it's a twin thing!

LOL okay, I mean I guess. I think Ves himself is a little more intentional about how evil he is, in fact he goes to great lengths to try and be Normal or Good and ultimately fails. It’s not due to a single incident that he turns ‘evil’ though, ‘I can make him worse’ was Korlanis’ approach to this marriage and he succeeded! I think this is SO CLOSE to being an accurate read, and could easily be the ‘fandom misinterpretation’ of his very deliberate decisions.
